Design Services
Benoit & Czarnecki is a design/build company, which means you don't have to hire an architect and then put your project out for a bid - we do it all. We have done everything from simple repairs to whole house renovations. We will never turn down any request without first giving it thoughtful consideration, and we will certainly consider any proposal.
The initial step in designing your home renovation is called the conceptual design stage, where various design solutions will be explored and one ultimately selected. We also take field measurements and document the site and building(s) prior to commencing work. When it is required, we will perform a zoning check with the Township to be sure that the project is within zoning regulations.
When we receive the executed design proposal, we will return to your home to measure the project space and take photographs for help with conceptual designs. Usually we'll offer you three different scenarios for the project, then we'll meet with you to discuss them. Once the design is finalized, we'll put together our construction proposal and move ahead with the project from there.

Construction Process
Construction documents usually include the following:
* Site plan (if required);
* Detailed floor plans and
elevations with notes and
specifications;
* Permit-ready structural/
framing plans, details, and
wall sections;
* Electrical and lighting plans.
Once these documents are in place and agreed upon, we can start the actual work. We try to arrange the workflow to accommodate items that take longer to order than others, so that there isn't a lot of idle time spent waiting for parts.
